It was a pretty crazy ride, writing The Scar Gatherer books! Along the way, I learned all sorts of things, including what connects Vikings to mobile phones (you'll find the answer to that in these pages) and how and why you might remove your eyebrows if you were a rich lady living in the 1660s. (You'll have to go and read The Demon in the Embers to find that out. Believe me, the recipe options for hair remover are enough to make your hair fall out in horror!)
